'Cute' has been said often enough, but this is...I'll just switch languages and go with KAWAII instead.

Quite a perfect depiction.

blue floppy hat- and what language is kawaii? it's quite unforunate, my lingual skills. english, smatterings of hindi, marathi, a warped sense of malayalam & french.

Kawaii is japanese. It's also my cats name lol I love this image, and your handwriting too!

i love the header on your blog, just wanted to say that.

jello on springs- thanks! i shouldve guesses it was japanese, but i was so taken up with how much kawaii rhymed with hawaii, i couldnt focus. if that made any sense!
jen- that's really sweet of you thanks!

As Jello on Springs said, it's Japanese. And my Japanese has dwindled to next to nothing since I had lessons twelve years ago, so all I'm can speak is Hindi, Bengali, very badly accented Malayalam and some French that's nearly as bad as my Japanese!

great illustration! but...what is going on here?

incidentally, being born and bred in hawaii, i can't help but also think of my home whenever i see kawaii.

dreamecho- it's just an observation on how the difference between male and female is so blurry these days. i don't suppose my depiction is very obvious, but it's what i had in mind.
