new muse

I know it's early still, but my inspiration for New year's- Morticia Addam on a slight trip.
handy pose ripped off my friend Mr. Z. I know he would want me to acknowledge it.

I always look forward to New Year's, I have no idea why. I guess it is one of the most "glamorous holidays." I still have this mental image of a gown dripping with jewels and myself sipping champange in equally fashionable society.

I love Morticia Adams-- her long jet black hair against her pale skin, her floor length dresses, what's not to love?

Photography is art, I feel very strongly towards that. But I guess we see is so much every day in advertisements and anyone can take a picture (but not paint one), so we tend to take it for granted. Some photographs aren't art and people just need to note the differences, because they're missing out on some beautiful images if they ignore photographers.

New Year's is generally a time for me to get completely inebriated and end up lying in a gutter in London. Last year I was the Mad Hatter, good fun though. Morticia is a great idea.
Directed to your blog via NOS and while I've been skimming through your archives, I've yet to comment to let you know how brilliant your blog is. And it is utterly brilliant! Looking forward to more from you!
